MINERALNYE VODY, April 30 – RIA "Dagestan." At a Government Commission meeting on the sidelines of the Caucasus Investment Forum, Dagestani Head Sergei Melikov requested federal subprogram inclusion for relocating citizens from landslide hazard zones, calling rebuilding in high-risk areas impractical.
Melikov thanked the Head of North Ossetia Sergei Menyailo for providing humanitarian equipment assistance. As to the regional governor, five schools in the republic are beyond repair: “Dagestan requests support for prefabricated modular buildings to resume classes by September 1, while full-scale reconstruction will be incorporated into the national project "Youth and Children" for the 2028–2030 period”.
