On the sidelines of the Forum of Governors of Caspian Regions in Rasht, Iran, the Chairman of the Dagestan Government, Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov, met with the Governor of Iran's Mazandaran Province, Mehdi Younesi-Rostami, to discuss enhancing trade efficiency through simplified customs procedures.
The Iranian delegation stressed the importance of accelerating customs clearance and reducing administrative barriers to strengthen bilateral trade and economic relations. In response, Abdulmuslimov expressed confidence that successful cooperation between Dagestan and Mazandaran, particularly within the International North-South Transport Corridor, would create significant new opportunities for entrepreneurs in both regions.
The discussion also covered broader prospects for partnership, exploring potential collaboration in agriculture, trade, industry, and tourism.
