MINERALNYE VODY, April 28 – RIA "Dagestan." The Caucasus Investment Forum has commenced today in Mineralnye Vody, convening government officials, business executives and investors from both Russia and abroad. The Investment Path: Past, Present, and Future is the central theme of the event. The forum's agenda features participation of heads of governmental bodies, representatives of Russian and global corporations, media organizations, as well as youth and scientific organizations.
The forum is designed to function as a venue for conducting negotiations and formalizing business agreements focused on promoting investment initiatives and fostering public-private partnerships throughout various Russian regions. Consistent with established practice, Dagestan will present its prospective projects of significant impact at this event and intends to proactively interact with potential investors. The event is scheduled to take place on April 28 - 30.
Sergei Melikov, Head of the Republic of Dagestan, shared his expectations for the event:
"Currently, our primary focus is on providing aid to those impacted by the natural disaster and mitigating its severe consequences. Nevertheless, while prioritizing the welfare of our residents, it remains imperative not to suspend Dagestan's developmental initiatives. Conversely, this period necessitates an intensified collaboration with federal authorities, leading corporations and other Russian regions. Such cooperation aims to enhance support frameworks for the Dagestanis and to strengthen enterprises that exhibit dependability and social accountability amid these adversities. Anchored by these objectives—assisting the populace and promoting regional progress—we have established Dagestan's delegation to engage actively in the Caucasus Investment Forum".
