Export Support Center Highlights Growing Foreign Demand for Dagestan-made Industrial Goods

MAKHACHKALA, March 31 – RIA Dagestan. Dagestan-made industrial products are in strong demand abroad, Ruslan Abaskuliev, Director of the republican Export Support Center said. The top official pointed to glass manufacturing as a standout example: Salavatsteklo Kaspiy exports to Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, while Dagestan Steklo Tara supplies Azerbaijan. Abaskuliev also noted that separators produced by Dagestani plants reach markets in Uzbekistan, India, Belarus and Azerbaijan.

Besides, Dagestani juice manufacturers get prepared to expand into Thailand, with only product certification remaining before final approval. As to Abaskuliev, logistics represent the primary challenge for the initiative.
