MAKHACHKALA, June 4 – RIA Dagestan. Architects and leading urban planning experts have conducted a comprehensive study and assessment of the development potential of Makhachkala agglomeration.
To ensure the balanced growth of the capital of Dagestan, a spatial development scenario has been proposed that includes approximately 300 projects and initiatives. These range from the development of transport routes and zoning regulations to the expansion of utility networks and the preservation of natural territories.
The future of the agglomeration is envisioned through decentralization and the creation of new development hubs in the satellite towns of Tyube, Bogatyryovka and Shamkhal. This strategic approach is designed to decongest the urban core and significantly reduce the strain on the region's existing infrastructure.
