The repair of a regionally significant highway in Dagestan's Sergokalinsky district has been successfully finished. This highway, connecting Karabudakhkentsky and Sergokalinsky districts with the capital and federal highway R-217 "Caucasus", plays a crucial role in the economic development of the region by facilitating transportation and socio-cultural exchanges.
The renovation encompassed asphalt pavement reinforcement and replacement, drainage system repair, roadside and ditch restoration and implementation of road safety measures. These measures included installation of signal poles, metal barriers, new road signs and thermoplastic horizontal markings. Notably, the project was completed two months ahead of schedule, the regional Ministry of Transport reports.
