MAKHACHKALA, October 28 – RIA "Dagestan". Three import-substitution projects have been implemented within the “City of Shoemakers” industrial cluster in the Republic of Dagestan. The cluster currently comprises 13 footwear manufacturing enterprises participating in four collaborative projects with a total investment volume of RUB 415 million and the planned creation of 95 new jobs. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Dagestan provides comprehensive support throughout the implementation phase.
Three of the four projects have already been completed using private investment funds. These include the establishment of production of aluminum injection molds for footwear soles rated for one million injection cycles, with an investment of RUB 100 million and the creation of 25 jobs; the launch of footwear sole production, with an investment of RUB 50 million; and the organization of production of arch-support components for insoles, with an investment of RUB 15 million.
The fourth project, “Expansion of Specialized Footwear Production”, with an investment of RUB 250 million and the creation of 50 jobs, is currently at the implementation stage. The investor is “Sandali” LLC with the participation of “Armada Plus” LLC.
