MAKHACHKALA, July 17 – RIA "Dagestan". In H1 2026, Dagestan emerged as one of only 13 regions in Russia with expanding individual housing construction, per Cian analytics. The republic completed 892,000 sq m of housing (+15% YoY), driven by a 32% surge in private home builds.
This growth contrasts sharply with national trends, as regions like Tuva (−83%) and Moscow (−56%) saw major contractions. Chechnya, Samara, and Vladimir also posted gains. Notably, the top ten regions—including Dagestan, Bashkortostan and Rostov—continue to concentrate nearly half (46%) of all new private housing in Russia, consistent with 2025 levels.
