MAKHACHKALA, April 30 – RIA "Dagestan." A new investment project in livestock farming is underway in Dagestan. The peasant farm "Barakat" invests RUB 350 million to establish advanced cattle slaughtering infrastructure, aligning with the regional food processing expansion initiative. Concurrently, Dagfrut LLC has unveiled a RUB 200 million venture focused on the processing of 8,000 tons of agricultural raw materials. According to Agriculture Minister Shamil Ramazanov, these initiatives hold strategic significance for the local economy and are poised to enhance Russia’s national food security framework. The minister also noted that in 2025, non-budgetary investments totaling RUB 6.5 billion were mobilized to underpin agricultural development projects.
