Dagestan Establishes 200 Hectares of New Super-Intensive Orchards

MAKHACHKALA, April 29 – RIA "Dagestan." Since the beginning of 2026, agricultural producers in Dagestan have established 432 hectares of new orchards. As part of the spring planting campaign, the republic has added 232 hectares of intensive and 200 hectares of super-intensive orchards.

This fall, plans are in place to establish at least an additional 500 hectares of orchards in Akhtynsky, Kizilyurtovsky, Khasavyurtovsky and Derbentsy districts. Currently, the total area of orchards in Dagestan amounts to approximately 30,000 hectares.
