A grand, celebratory concert titled "Lights of Unity," honoring the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Dagestan, was orchestrated within the Russian Song Theater in Moscow.

The Permanent Mission of the Republic to the President of the Russian Federation oversaw this event. The attendees were engrossed in the rich cultural ambiance of Dagestan, as evidenced by photographic areas adorned in the fashion of traditional mountain homes, showcases of traditional folk-art crafts, live performances on the national pandur instrument and breathtaking acts by renowned tightrope walkers and dance ensembles.

The concert agenda encompassed illustrious figures such as People's Artists of Dagestan Rashid Bagatayev and Rosa Maksumova, Honored Artist Mashidat Omarashabova, the ensembles "Assa," "Pereplyas," and "Allon" and a Cossack dance group.

On behalf of the head of Dagestan, Sergei Melikov, the Permanent Representative of the republic, Vladislav Tolstyuk, addressed the guests. The event finished with a stirring "Russia and the Caucasus — together forever!" performance by renowned artist Rukiyat Gamzatova. This powerful rendition served as a testament to Dagestan's rich cultural heritage and its enduring connection within the diverse tapestry of the Russian Federation.
