Vladimir Putin congratulates Zemfira Magomedalieva with victory at World Championship

Makhachkala, November 27, 2014. The Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Dagestani athlete Zemfira Magomedalieva with a victory at the Women's World Boxing Championship, held in South Korea on November 13 - 25.

"Dear Zemfira Ramazanovna, I congratulate you with triumph at the World Boxing Championship. Having showed true leadership qualities in a keen struggle, you gained a victory over strong rivals and convincingly proved that you deserve to be the first. I wish you new sporting success, good health and all the very best, "-  Putin’s congratulatory telegram runs.

Zemfira Magomedalieva became the first in Dagestan sports history, who won the Women's World Boxing Championships.

In addition, RF President congratulated Zinaida Dobrynina, Anastasia Belyakova, who were awarded at the World Championship in different weight categories.

It should be noted that two graduates of Dagestan boxing school such as Saadat Abdulaeva acting for the Russian team and Yelena Vystropova as a part of the  Azerbaijani team in the weight category up to 69 kg took the second and third places at the World Championship.
