Magomedov’s opponent is Brazilian Gabriel Gonzaga. For the present time, Dagestan heavyweight has three wins in three fights under the UFC.

Magomedov debuted in the UFC in May 2014 in the tournament UFC Fight Night 41, where by the unanimous decision of jury he gain victory over Czech fighter Victor Pest. Then, in November 2014, the Russian fighter defeated American Josh Copeland. In the last match, Ruslan took over Shawn Jordan.
