Makhachkala, December 7, 2015. The acting champion of the M-1 Challenge, the strongest middleweight of Russia Dagestani Ramazan Emeev defended his title by winning a landslide victory over the experienced American Luigi Fioravanti. The battle took place on December 5 in the tournament M-1 Challenge 63 in St. Petersburg.

Emeev owned a huge advantage in the course of the fight and his opponent refused to continue the fight after the fourth round. Ramazan Emeev won the champion’s title in a duel against his compatriot - Vyacheslav Vasilevsky. Noteworthy, Dagestani fought back the title in the rematch.

Their first duel took place in September 2014 within the framework of the M-1 Challenge 51, and ended with the victory Vasilevsky in the fourth round. Then, in April 2015, Ramazan took a convincing revenge by defeating his opponent using a rear choke.

After defending the belt, Emeev said he was not interested in another duel with Vasilevsky, as well as with his opponent: "I had four fights with Vasilevsky. I think he is not interested in the next fight like me. We live in one country. I would like to hold fights against foreign fighters than ever to meet each other. I think it would be right"- said Emeev.
