Makhachkala, February 17, 2015. An open parkour championship titled "Absolute power 2" is scheduled to run February 21 in the volleyball hall of Dagestan State University’s sports complex to welcome tracers from Dagestan, North Caucasus Federal District regions, and other Russian cities, a source at the university told RIA Dagestan.

The sports event is organized by the DSU Educational and Social Control and Dagestan branch of the Students Association of the Russian Youth Union.
The championship will represent a series of exhibition performances following an agreed program, with representatives of other friendly street sports performing as guests.

The championship prize fund is over 20,000 rubles which will be distributed among the first three places. The craziest trick nomination will be competed for separately. The jury, specially invited to the «Absolute power 2" - professionals Oleg Savin, Alex Savin (Astrakhan) and Mikhail Kundryukov (Stavropol) - will appraise the participants’ professionalism and creativity.

Organizers say the event will be a wonderful chance to show the public how positive is the culture of active extreme sports and how athletes are trying to reach new professional heights.
