Makhachkala, November 17, 2016. More than 100 sambo wrestlers will compete for medals in Dagestan championship, which will take place November 19-20 in Children's and Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve in Makhachkala, the press service of the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sport of the Republic of Dagestan reports.

On the first day of competitions, the athletes in the weight categories up to 52, 62, 74, 90 and 100 kg will challenge the tournament medals on the wrestling mat. On the final day, the 57, 68, 82 and over 100 kg sportsmen will perform. The tournament winners will be included into the combined team to act in the Championship of the North Caucasus Federal District, on December 9-11 in Nalchik.
