Makhachkala, September 14, 2015. Dagestan freestyle wrestler Magomedrasul Gazimagomedov obtained gold medal of the World Wrestling Championship in Las Vegas. In the final battle up to 70 kg Gazimagomedov defeated his Iranian opponent Hassan Yazdanicharati with a score of 10: 3.

"The secret of success is my spirit, I managed to win in the final bout - Mahammadrasul Gazimagomedov said. - I knew I needed to attack and to fight to the end. I want to thank the coaching staff for the professional preparation for the World Championship. I am very happy to become the gold medalist."

On the way to the gold, Dagestan wrestler gained victories over Mongol Ankhbayar Batchuluun, Kazakh Nurlan Bekhanov, Turk Yakup Gora and his fellow compatriot from the national team of Belarus Azamat Nurikov. American James Green and Turk Yakup Gura took the bronze medals.
