Makhachkala, February 6, 2019. The Ali Aliyev Sports Palace in Kaspiysk will host the republic's freestyle wrestling championship for the prizes of the Olympic champion Zagalav Abdulbekov. The competitions will be held on February 14-17. More than 200 athletes are expected to participate in the event. Ноу wrestlers will compete in 10 weight categories. For the free style wrestlers, the republican tournament will become one of the selective stages for the championship of the North Caucasian Federal District. Last year, the Republican competitions for the prizes of Z. Abdulbekov were held for the first time in the Gamid Gamidov Sports Palace located in Khasavyurt.
