Anapa, Krasdodar region, October 28, 2014. Rashid Magomedov, a 2nd-year student of Daghestan State Technical University (technology department), won the kickboxing world championship (WAKO section) which finished earlier in Anapa, Krasdodar region, the press service of the university told RIA "Dagestan".

In the final, Rashid had to oppose a very strong athlete, and it was no easy win at all. In general, the Daghestani athlete performed better.
Although very young, Magomedov is an experienced fighter with a record of quite a few good victories. In 2013-2014, he won the Russian championship and Daghestan Cup.
