Djabar Askerov to contest world W5 kickboxing championship

Makhachkala, November 28, 2014. Well-known Russian kickboxer Djabar Askerov will fight for the title of the world W5 champion.

In a duel scheduled to run in Slovakia’s Bratislava November 29-30, he will oppose Brazilian champion Alexander Cosmo.

The W5 tournament has also attracted famous fighters like Enrico Gogokhia, Gerry Bavetta, Shamsi Bećiri, and Vladimir Moravik.

Djabar Askerov has a record of over 80 wins in professional kickboxing. The latest win dates back to June 7, when Askerov took revenge on Australian Steve Moxon for the 2013 defeat by split decision.
