Makhachkala, April 1, 2014. Daghestani wrestler Akhmed Chakaev became a winner of the international tournament for the prizes of the President of the Republic of Buryatia, the website wrestdag.ru reports.
The competition took place in the city of Ulan-Ude on March 30 to 31. Over 130 wrestlers competed for the award of the tournament. Akhmed Chakaev, represented the Republic of Daghestan, won the competition in the weight category up to 65 kg.
On his way to the final, Daghestani wrestler conducted three fights, finishing all of them ahead of time. He gained victories over a wrestler from Ulan-Ude, as well as over two other wrestlers representing Mongolia.
According to the spokesperson, in the finals Chakaev was stronger than Tuvinian Mengi Mortui -ool, acting for the Kemerovo region.
It should be noted that Akhmed Chakaev successfully performs at the presidential competitions. So, before he had already become a threefold winner of Kadyrov Tournament in Grozny .
