Makhachkala, April 29, 2014. Daghestani mixed martial arts fighters gained a victory in the SKFO championship, the coach of Makhachkala sports club "Gorets" Sohrab Magomedov reports.
The tournament took place in Nalchik on April 26 -28.
12 athletes performed for Daghestani team at the competition.
In five of the six weight categories presented in the tournament, graduates of Daghestan sports schools became the strongest. By results of the championship, Daghestani sportsmen obtained five golds, two silvers and one bronze.
By the way, fighters of Makhachkala sports club "Gorets" took four awards of the highest value. Champions became Ramazan Sulibanov (up to 70 kg ), Asret Alilov ( up to 84 kg ), Magomed Ankalaev (up to 93 kg) and Suleiman Gadzhikhanov ( up to 93 kg).
Competitions are qualifying for the championship of Russia.
