Daghestan wushu sportsmen obtain five gold medals at the international tournament in Georgia

Makhachkala, June 24, 2014. Daghestani wushu sportsmen, acting for the Russian team, won five gold medals at the traditional international tournament in the capital of Georgia, Daghestan executive director of Daghestan Wushu Federation Magomedali Magomedov says.

More than 100 sportsmen from Georgia, as well as Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Iran and India took part in the competition. Russia was represented by seven athletes of different sports schools.

By results of the tournament, five Daghestani  wushu athletes succeeded in winning the top of the podium. The winners in different age and weight categories are: Magomed Abdusalamov (up to 60 kg, 14 years), Magomedzagir Abdullayev (up to 80 kg, 15-16years), Magomedhabib Ibakov (up to 60 kg, 17-18 years), Abdulaziz Shakhruramazanov (up to 90 kg over 18 years).
