Makhachkala, October 18, 2016. Dagestani fighters became winners of the Cup of Russia in the Oriental, which took place October 14-16 in Odintsovo, Moscow region, the President of the Republican Federation of Oriental style (MMA) Badavi Gasanov said.

The participants competed in several sections of the Oriental style: MMA, grappling and Wushu Sanda. "Our guys managed to win the first place in team offset with more than 20 medals of different value"- Gasanov noted.

The first place winners in their weight categories and sections are: George Shatirishvili (42 kg), Ramazan Abakarov (50 kg), Haji Aliyev (55 kg), Magomed Aliyev (60 kg), Gurban Aliyev (61 kg), Bashir Magomedov (66 kg ), Mahammad Hasanov (68 kg), Kuramagomed Musayev (68 kg), Gadzhimurad Ahmadov (70 kg), Ahmed Magomedbekov (72 kg), Magomed Akhmedov (75 kg), Magomed Chopanov (75 kg), Omar Chakalov (80 kg) , Ekper Gadzhiekperov (84 kg), Haybula Magomedov (85 kg) and Zakaryaev Islam (90 kg).
