Makhachkala, July 5, 2018. The students of Dagestan State Pedagogical University won gold medals of the All-Russian Summer Universiade for rugby-7 among women's teams, held July 2-4 in Belgorod, the head of the republican rugby federation Magomed Gadzhimagomedov told. On the way to success, Dagestani rugby players defeated rivals from the universities of Ulyanovsk, Moscow, Vladimir and Perm in the finals. Note, the representatives of Dagestan become the gold medal holders of these prestigious competitions among the higher education institutions second year in a row.
