Makhachkala, July 28, 2015. Dagestan tennis player Arslanbek Temirkhanov won a major international tournament Tenniseuro Sparkasse Cup, taken place in Kufsshtayn, Austria. The sport event was held on July 23 - 26.

In local courts, Temirkhanov played six matches. Alternately, Dagestan sportsman gained a victory over  Italian Jacob Bilardo with a score of 6: 2, 6: 1; Swiss Yarin Ayebi - 6: 3, 6: 7, 7: 5; German Jakob Feyen - 6: 3, 3: 6, 6: 4; Swede Leo Borg - 6: 0, 7: 5.

In the semifinals, Temirkhanov defeated German Kim Johannes Niethammer with a score of 6: 4, 6: 2. In the deciding game, Dagestan tennis player overwhelmed a Mexican of Italian origin Francisco Javier Borbolla - 6: 4, 6: 4.
