Makhachkala, March 10, 2015. Dagestani sportsmen became winners of the XXIV Open personally-team championship of Russia in athletics among veterans held on March 3 - 7 in Penza.

About 290 athletes from 37 regions of Russia participated in the competitions. Dagestan was represented by seven sportsmen.

By results of the competitions, Tagir Ibragimov (age group of 60-64 years) obtained the first place in the shotput, the second place in 60 and 200 meters and the third place in the discipline of the triple jump. Nuri Rakhmanov (50-54 years) won in shotput. Nizami Magomedov (35-39 years) gained the first place in the shot put and the third place in the triple jump.
