Makhachkala, December 18, 2015. Dagestan wrestlers Osmantagir Osmanov and Shakhban Magomedov won medals at the championship of Russia on line sports society "Dynamo" held December 13-14 in Sochi, the coach of the Republican team in judo Magomedbek Aliyev said.
"Osmanov won the gold medal, defeating David Karapetyan from Stavropol Territory in the finals in the weight category up to 66 kg. Magomedov, in the decisive battle in the weight category up to 73 kg conceded Chechen Naib Umarov and took the second place"- the source noted.
As to the coach, the medal winners of the national championship will be included into the Russian combined team to participate in the international competitions in 2016, namely, in the European Championship, the date and venue of which will be announced shortly.
