Makhachkala, January 15, 2015. Dagestani judo team will participate in Youth Championship across the North Caucasian Federal District. The sport event will take place in Nalchik on January 17-18, the head coach of Dagestan team Magomedbek Aliyev says.

"By results of Dagestan championship held in Makhachkala in December 2014, the top five sportsmen in nine weight categories will perform in the North Caucasus Federal District championship. To cut long story short, about 50 Dagestan judokas will participate in Nalchik. These are boys born in 1998-2000.
The main objective of the upcoming competition is to win as many competes as possible. The best sportsmen will take part in the February championship of Russia, to be held in Kazan. I am glad that our judokas showed consistently high results at NCFD youth championships from year to year and Dagestan team returned home with a team victory, "- M. Aliyev said.

The competition will be attended by 400 athletes. As it is reported, the athletes will compete for medals in the weight category up to 46, 50, 55, 60, 66, 73, 81, 90, 90 kg at the North Caucasian Federal District Championship in Nalchik.
