Makhachkala, July 14, 2015. Dagestan sportsman Muslim Gadzhimagomedov, acting for the Russian national junior team, gained the gold medal of the International Tournament entitled Golden Gloves of Vojvodina, held in Serbia on July8 - 12, the athlete’s coach Rashidbek Akhmedov says.

About 188 boxers from 24 countries attended the competition.

"This tournament is one of the stages of preparation for the European Championship that will take place in Poland this autumn. Our boxers obtained two gold, three silver and one bronze medals. My trainee Muslim Gadzhimagomedov, acting in the weight category up to 81, kg has won one of the gold.  Having spent three bouts, Gadzhimagomedov defeated the Serbian, Scottish and Armenian boxers at the tournament "- the coach noted.

As Rashidbek Akhmedov said, Dagestan boxer also would participate in another international tournament held in the UK in August 2015.
Muslim Gadzhimagomedov is a native of Tlyaratinskiy district, trained by Rashidbek Akhmedov in Makhachkala Boxing Academy.
