Makhachkala, November 25, 2015. The sportswomen of the Russian women's national boxing team, Zemfira Magomedalieva and Saadat Abdulayeva won medals at the International boxing tournament, held in Kazakh city of Atyrau on November 21 - 23, the athletes’ coach Suhrab Manapov says.
The tournament was attended by 83 athletes from six countries. Having defeated two Kazakh sportswomen at the tournament, Zemfira Magomedalieva become the winner in the weight category up to 81 kg. The trainee of Suhrab Manapov, representing Makhachkala sports school, Magomedova gained a victory over her opponents convincingly. The final fight ended with a knockout for Magomedalieva’s rival.
The other winner of the International boxing tournament Saadat Abdulaeva obtained a silver medal in the weight category up to 75 kg. In her first fight, Abdulaeva defeated the Kazakh athlete, in the second one- the Polish sportswoman, and only in the final, lost to a local athlete who earlier won the W orld championship.
As reported, Dagestani athletes, as a part of the Russian team, will undergo in the training section, which will be held in Anapa.
