Abdussalam Gadissov wins World free-style wrestling championship

Tashkent, September 10, 2014. Daghestani wrestler Abdussalam Gadissov in the 97 kg weight won the gold medal of the world championship taking place nowadays in Tashkent.

In the final, Gadissov defeated Azerbaijan’s world champion Hetag Goziumov. To qualify for the final, Gadissov had had to win Canadian Singh Gill, Cuban Javier Cortina, Chinese Ksiuei Jung, and Turkish Shamil Akhmedov-Erdogan.
