Abdusamad Gamidov meets with representatives of Turkey Wrestling Federation

Makhachkala, November 11, 2015. On Tuesday, November 10, the Prime Minister RD Abdusamad Gamidov met with the President of the Wrestling Federation of Turkey Musa Aydin accompanied by . the regular members of the Federation Haluk Koc, Suleyman Sahin, Mohamed Bodir, Dzhelon Tashkran and the head coach of the national team of Turkey Isak Ibrayhanov.

Musa Aydin, expressed his gratitude for warm reception and noted the friendly visit of the Turkish delegation to Dagestan.

"Dagestan - the territory of wrestling, where the sport is paid a great attention. We are indeed very glad to visit the republic, to get familiarized with the life and culture of the peoples of Dagestan. Our goal is to strengthen the relationship in the field of sport, particularly in wrestling.

This visit is connected with the organization of a training session for our athletes on the territory of Dagestan. Similar activities, contributing to the development of our relations will be held in Turkey too. At heart, we are all - Dagestanis and Caucasians! "- Musa Aydin said.

For his part, Abdusamad Gamidov voiced greetings on behalf of the republican sports community and the government of the Republic.

"We are honored to meet such high guests from the friendly, brotherly Republic of Turkey. Our common desire is to cooperate in the field of sport, first of all, and to share experiences. In Turkey, as well as in the Russian Federation, particularly in Dagestan, the wrestling is one of the favorite sports, is an ambassador for peace. There is no doubt that your visit will further strengthen relations between Dagestan and Turkey" - the Prime Minister expressed confidence.

Let us remind that Abdusamad Gamidov is the president of the Federation of wrestling RD for the past nineteen years. During this period, Dagestan wrestlers won six Olympic gold medals for Russia.
