Well-known Russian scientist Denis Sokolov meets with DSTU students

Makhachkala, November 3, 2015. The senior fellow of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, the head of the Center for Socio-Economic Research of Regions RAMCOM Denis Sokolov met October 30 with the students and teachers of the Information Systems Faculty of Dagestan State Technical University in Makhachkala, the press service of the university reports.

Denis Sokolov is well-known Russian researcher, expert, the organizer of many conferences and seminars devoted to the study of the socio-economic situation in the North Caucasus and Dagestan, the co-author of "The Northern Caucasus: modernizing the challenge", "The origins of the conflicts in the Northern Caucasus" monographs, a number of articles and publications in the Internet.

Sokolov narrated in detail about the functioning of institutional economics in Dagestan, Northern Caucasus, Turkey and China.

"The students and teachers have been much impressed by rich field material associated with the peculiarities of development of various areas of informal businesses in Dagestan. Besides, the students asked the guest questions about the socio-economic prospects of Russia and the Islamic banking", - the press-service of the university informs.
