Makhachkala, July 2, 2019. Today, July 2, the department for culture, sports, youth affairs and tourism of Ahtynsky municipal district received the second delegation of foreign tourists, this time from the Czech Republic. The couple, Gendri and Vladimira, confessed that they had long wanted to visit Dagestan and were very happy to found themselves in the beautiful and picturesque village of Akhty.

The department head Kister Ganiyeva welcomed the guests instructing her colleagues to organize a saturated tourist trip with various excursions. First, Gendri and Vladimira accompanied by the chairman of the local youth parliament Rustam Shakirov went for a walk around the ancient places of the village of Ahty, visited the district technical center and the local history museum.

Then it turned out that Gendri and Vladimira, learned about the abandoned village of Gra using the Google maps. They expressed a desire to visit the site and asked about the exact route.  By afternoon, the tourists had already reached the picturesque slopes of the ancient village.
