Сonvoy carrying humanitarian aid departs from Dagestan to Crimea

Makhachkala, March 17, 2015. On the eve of the First Anniversary Of Crimea Referendum, in which the residents of the peninsula expressed their decision to enter into the Russian Federation, a convoy carrying humanitarian aid departed from Dagestan to Simferopol. Several heavy trucks will deliver essentials and gifts for children.

In an interview with the RIA "Dagestan" the Head of the Office for Domestic Policy and Spatial Development of the Administration of Dagestani Head and the Government of Dagestan Alibek Aliyev noted the great role played by the Head of the Republic of Dagestan, the mufti of Dagestan, the heads of several municipalities and the top managers of "Mostotryad-99" JSC.

Let us remind, the first convoy of humanitarian aid led by Alibek Aliyev arrived in Crimea a year ago. Then Dagestan first extended a helping hand to the brotherly people and thus supported the will of the Crimeans and the actions of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.

"Today it is very important that Dagestanis are so determined and consistent in their actions. Our assistance is directed primarily to children who should not be held hostage to the political situation. Nowadays, holding each other a helping hand, we as never before show the whole world that Dagestan and Crimea are the Russia, integral and inviolable, created by the will of the people and not on the basis of ambitions of certain politicians, "- Alibek Aliev pointed out.
The aid is expected to arrive in the Crimea in the coming days.
