Security forces catch militants and foil attacks in Dagestan

Makhachkala, March 18, 2016. In Dagestan, a group of militants associated with the terrorist group ISIS banned in Russia was caught, the National Anti-Terrorist Committee reports. The committee official told that the militants detained were preparing terrorist acts on the territory of Russia. Checking the confessions of militants in an abandoned house on the outskirts of a village there was found a cache which contained four improvised explosive devices with a total capacity of up to 5 kg of TNT equivalent and about a ton of explosives, NAC officer said.
