School of adoptive parents opens in Makhachkala

Makhachkala, November 29, 2016. The official opening of the School of adoptive parents at the socio-legal center "Assistance" took place in Makhachkala  as part of celebration of the Mother's Day.

Patron, the head of the charity foundation named after the People's Artist of Russia and Dagestan Burliyat Ibragimova and the public figure Zaur Amiraliev said that Dagestanis would no longer have to travel outside the republic to receive appropriate training and to collect documents on the adoption of children. He explained that the center will help foster parents for free.

According to Amiraliev, the School aims to assist the prospective adoptive parents in the development of the necessary knowledge in the field of education, care and protection for children.

The head of the Custody and guardianship department of Dagestan Ministry of Education Jamal Atayev, the director of urban social rehabilitation center for minors Aminat Abakarova and the representatives of the departments of custody of Kirovsky, Sovietsky, Leninsky districts of Makhachkala took part in the solemn event, the press service of the Industry and Trade Ministry of Dagestan reports.
