St. Petersburg, April 23, 2015.The Russian Environmental Film Festival will show a film about the natural beauty of the republic named "Wildlife of Dagestan", the press service of the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources told RIA Dagestan.
The film was shot by order of the Dagestanskiy State Natural Reserve. Moreover, "Wildlife of Dagestan" entered the competition program of the 5th Russian environmental film festival "Meridian of Hope".
In order to cover all natural areas and protected territory, the crew had done several expeditions to remote corners of the republic in cars, boats, airplanes and horses. The filmmakers observed and filmed the indescribably beautiful nature and unique landscapes to be shown to citizens and guests of St. Petersburg.
It is worth noting that the contest entries included a hundred films from different regions of the country. Only thirty of them entered the competition program. The festival winners in film and environmental categories will be announced April 24, 2015, at the closing ceremony.
