The team of the Rosgvardiya (National Guard of the Russian Federation) department across the Republic of Dagestan won the first place in the combat arms shooting championship among regions of the North Caucasian Federal District.

The competition was held at the Komgaron shooting range (Republic of North Ossetia-Alania). For three days more than 130 employees and servicemen in 14 teams from territorial departments and formations of the National Guard demonstrated their skills in shooting with Makarov pistol, AK-74 and sniper rifle.

According to results of the competition, Dagestan team won the gold medal in the team event. In the individual competition, Dagestani Rosgvardiya servicemen won four gold, four silver and one bronze medal. Winners received commemorative cups, diplomas and medals.

The press service noted that the championship winners will form a team that will represent the North Caucasian District at the All-Russian championship in combat arms shooting.
