Representatives of Dagestan participate in IV Stavropol Forum of World Russian People's Council
Dagestan was represented by the Minister for National Policy Tatiana Gamaley and the plenipotentiary of the Republic of Dagestan in Stavropol Territory Abdul Omarov.
The Archbishop of Pyatigorsk and Circassian Theophylact spoke on the need for the revival of historical family values in Russia. As an example, Theophylact called to follow the traditional Caucasian family values.
The rector of Lebanese University "Al-Daawa," Sheikh Jabri Abdunasir took part in the official opening ceremony. After the plenary session, the Forum participants continued work in four thematic sections: "The traditional family as the fundamental basis for the Russian civilized community", "Family values in culture, upbringing, education and the media", "The family in the context of demographic and gender problems of modern society" "Medical and psychological problems of the modern family, motherhood and childhood. Legal protection of the family, motherhood and childhood".
A series of workshops will be held today December 2. The purpose of the meeting is to create a platform for a broad and inclusive discussion of the problems of preservation and development of valuable family values for the stability and security of society and the state, its fundamental role in education of a responsible and ethical person in a dynamically changing world.
Among more than 350 participants of the forum, there were scientists, educators, artists, cultural, spiritual, social and political figures. Following the discussion, it was decided to prepare a report, which, along with other materials will address the president, the government, the Federal Assembly of Russia, the media and the public.
