Representatives of Dagestan official delegation meet with Crimean Head

Makhachkala, March 18, 2015. On March 17, the representatives of Dagestan official delegation met with Sergey Aksenov, the Crimean Head in Simferopol.
As it was reported Dagestan delegation consisting of Dagestan Head’s Envoy Alibek Aliev, Advisor to the Chairman of Dagestan National Assembly Izrail Kebedov, the political, social and religious leader Magomed Magomedov and assistant to mufti of Dagestan Magomed Magomedov arrived in the Peninsula to take part in celebration of the first anniversary of Crimea referendum on joining Russia.

Alibek Aliyev transmitted warm congratulations on behalf of Dagestan Head Ramazan Abdulatipov to the leader of the fraternal republic and presented gifts - handicrafts, a disc with a film about Rasul Gamzatov and an art edition about Makhachkala.

Sergey Aksenov shared his memorable visit to Dagestan, promising to visit Dagestan once again.

Aksenov also expressed his gratitude to the leadership of Dagestan because the republic first extended a helping hand to the brotherly people and thus supported the will of the Crimeans and the actions of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. In particular, the Dagestanis participated  in the construction and restoration of the Crimean mosques and delivering humanitarian aid via the famous route "Makhachkala - Simferopol".

“A friend in need is a friend indeed. During truly bad days for Crimea, it was very important to gain support from all the Russians. We felt it very keenly"- the Head of the Republic of Crimea said.

Sergei Aksenov assured that the goods would be met and solemnly handed over to the Crimeans, and once again expressed his gratitude for the generous gifts. Sergei Aksenov also praised the work carried out by Israil Kebedov in developing and strengthening of inter-ethnic and inter-religious relations between Dagestan and the Crimea.
