Makhachkala, June 19, 2018. The scientific and practical conference on sports medicine, sanatorium treatment and medical rehabilitation starts on June 18 in Dagestan State Medical University in Makhachkala. Within the framework of the event, an official opening ceremony of the Rehabilitation Center was held.

It is planned that the new center with the latest equipment and qualified specialists will conduct scientific and practical work to provide medical rehabilitation services for the residents of the Republic of Dagestan. Earlier, the center of personalized medicine with the laboratory of Polymerase Chain Reaction  diagnostics was opened not in the university's base.

At the moment, about 5 thousand students study at Dagestan State Medical University in five faculties. The educational institution was established in 1932 in Makhachkala.
