Makhachkala, May 24, 2018. A special rehabilitation center for adults with developmental needs will be created in Dagestan. The information about this has been voiced the day before by the Minister of Labor and Social Development of the Republic Rasul Ibrahimov during his visit to the Day Care Center for the Disability Assistance Fund "Life without tears."

Ibragimov spoke with the parents of the center boarders who were interested in the rehabilitation of children with developmental needs after they reached adulthood. Answering the questions, the interim minister noted efforts taken by the regional authorities in this direction.

"I know how difficult it is for families to take care for the children with developmental needs. But even more difficult is for those whose children reached the age of 18. They face the problem of urgent need for the further rehabilitation process. So, we had already taken up the solution of this problem" - Ibraimov is quoted saying.

This year it is planned to complete all design and project work for the establishment of the new institution. The construction of the rehabilitation center for adults is expected to begin in early 2019.
