Makhachkala, December 26, 2014. The Civil Journalism School launched registration for the third class. The lectures focused on practical mastery of writing texts in different styles and genres will be held in February, 2015.

The school project started November, 2013. In a year, two classes of students have attended lectures on the basics of journalism. They learned the history of journalism, got to know its basic genres, studied methods of journalistic creativity, and talked to well-known Dagestani journalists.

The second class also visited a number of Dagestani municipalities and North Ossetia-Alania Republic where the students came to see local media’s editorials and shared experiences with their colleagues. After training, many school graduates found jobs in Dagestani print and electronic media as well as in press services of republican government agencies.

The third class is supposed to hear both Dagestani journalists and experts from other Russia regions share their knowledge and experience with their beginner colleagues.

For students’ convenience, classes will be held 2-6 pm on weekends.
