People's project: Dagestanis restore "road of ancestors"
As to the press service of Gumbetovsky district administration, the road is being built on the right bank of the Chirkei reservoir. It is assumed that the new transport line will connect the city of Buynaksk and the sacred mountain of Akhulgo. Despite the acting motorway through the Gimry tunnel, the ordinary citizens decided to invest in “Buznasannukh”, as there are no steep ascents that create problems for the traffic, especially in winter, during the icy period. Besides, the new road is twice as short, there will be no restrictions for the passage of large trucks, trucks with liquefied gas and other large-sized vehicles.
The Chairman of Dagestan Writers' Union, the people's poet Magomed Akhmedov, the public figure, the author of books about Imam Shamil, the people's poet Magomed Gamzayev, the editor-in-chief of the Gumbet weekly, the member of the Union of Writers of Russia Gamzat Izudinov, the Honored artist of Dagestan Khuramagomed Khiramamedomev and some others visited different sections of the road under construction.
Magomedkamil Dibirov and Nabigula Magomedov, who take an active part in project implementation, familiarized the public figures with the work progress.
According to Dibirov, the rock massifs that got in the way were blown up. Similar works are coming in several more sections. “More than 70 percent of the road has already been built. Dozens of units of equipment are involved in construction works: the excavators, KamAZ trucks, bulldozers, graders, dump trucks, etc. We were able to assemble a good team of professionals who are engaged in earthworks, drilling, blasting, and other types of work. The rate of armament of the route is directly dependent on the investments and donations of people, since we work on a voluntary basis. I would like to appreciate the contribution of our fellow compatriots to this charitable socially significant business. The representatives of almost all regions of upland Dagestan contributed to the reconstruction of the road” - Magomedkamil Dibirov said.
