Osman Sheikhgasanov, a participant of the Special Military Operation, a native of the village of Novokuli, has been awarded the Suvorov Medal by decree of the Russian Federation President. Sheikhgasanov joined the SMO as a volunteer 2 years ago. As to Sheikhgasanov the decision to enlist in the Military was taken as he perceived any threat to the country as personal. Recently, Osman's mother has received a letter from the command of her son's military unit thanking her for "raising a real man and patriot of the Fatherland".
