Makhachkala, July 9, 2014. Over 400 young Daghestanis will participate in the Caucasus youth forum "Mashuk-2014", the head of Daghestan delegation Magomed Abdullayev told RIA "Daghestan".

The total grant fund of "Mashuk-2014" is RUB 100 million. It is supposed to be held in 2 sessions: August 4 -10 and August 10-17. This year, there were more than 900 applicants from Daghestan, of who 440 young people’s projects have qualified.

"Mashuk" is a socio-educational project aimed at identifying and supporting initiatives of socially active youth and project teams of the North Caucasus Federal District in economics, law, politics, journalism, science, innovation, information technology, civil society, art, culture, volunteering, and healthy lifestyle.  The forum is the final step of a series of NCFD inter-regional youth events.

Gradually, the forum is evolving first of all to unite active, thoughtful, and creative young people of the North Caucasus, because the forum’s main goal is integrating active young people and promising project teams in addressing the most pressing socio-economic and socio-political problems in the NCFD.

It is noteworthy that at "Mashuk 2013", Daghestani delegation was one of the leaders in the number of the grants awarded - 141 projects of Daghestan participant were granted RUB 26 million.
