North Caucasus youth forum "Mashuk-2014" is over
At the closing ceremony, Deputy State Duma Chairman Sergey Zhelezniak said the forum had evolved for the past few years, "Mashuk is progressing. Today, it is a platform for everyone to share their projects and ideas, get professionals’ support, and talk to sports stars and prominent people of culture and art. I'm sure, this is a place for you to find new great, true friends."
The event had brought together 2,500 participants from all North Caucasus Federal District region and young people from other Russian regions and 5 foreign countries. Te forum also saw a lot of dignitaries including well-known Russian politicians, famous athletes, actors and public figures, the headliner being Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
Over the past two weeks, the young leaders had a chance to meet and make friends, get valuable information at VIP lectures and workshops, participate in exciting panel discussions on pressing issues, and show what they can on dance floors and sports venues. Most importantly – they got an opportunity to present and defend their projects at the grants competition.
