Makhachkala, March 1, 2016. A new racetrack will be constructed in vicinity of Dagestan city of Kaspiysk, - the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic Musafendi Velimuradov said. Minister's statement was made in connection with the public outcry caused by the information on demolition of the old racetrack "Dagestan", located between Makhachkala and Kaspiysk.

"As for the horses, they live on the territory of the State budget institution "Factory Stable "Dagestanskaya" near Kaspiysk. Fodder for animals is purchased by a separate state unitary enterprise. We plan to consolidate the territories and institutions and to establish new racetrack with the total allotted area of approximately 600 hectares. Currently, 84 horses are kept in the stables of "Dagestanskaya"- the minister noted.
